The beach, surfing and nature are the biggest sources of inspiration for Dutch interior designer Julie Hoyng. After working in fashion for over 20 years she organically made the switch to interior design.

Story
Besides creating interior concepts for private homes, Julie is specialised in designing short stay holiday rentals. Creating a getaway home where you can let go and relax is her goal to achieve during a project. It needs to be a feel good surrounding as well as super inspiring and practical. To truly create an authentic experience within a space Julie finds it is important to look beyond the interiors to what is surrounding; an essential part of the creative process.
Her style is combining sun-bleached earthy tones with natural, raw materials as well as comfortable furniture and mixing old and new characteristic details. Always with a touch of surf and beach. Incorporating art with artisanal approaches, customising pieces for clients and the use of different materials keeps her designs fresh and unique and timeless.
